Beef with Broccoli (Nuea Pad Kanaa)

 

 
  Broccoli Ingredients:
  • Marinade:
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
    • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
    • 2 tablespoons rice wine
    • 1 tablespoon cornstarch/corn flour
    • 2 tablespoons fish sauce

  • 1/2 lb. Beef chuck or flank, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 1/2 lb. Chinese broccoli or broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup straw mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
Method:
  1. Combine the marinade ingredients, then add the beef pieces and marinade for 2 hours or overnight.

  2. Wash the broccoli and cut it into 3 in pieces and set aside.

  3. Heat a large skillet and add the oil. Saut� the beef until almost cooked.

  4. Add the broccoli and the other ingredients and continue to stir-fry for another 3 minutes.

  5. Serve hot or warm.
