| One of the best ways to explore Thailand’s lengthy menu is to take a cooking course that teaches everything you
need to know starting with the basics. What makes Thailand one of the most popular cuisine in Southeast Asia is its versatile mix of sweet, salty, spicy and tangy. The beauty is that
you can flavor any Thai dish such as Tom Yum Goong or Phad Thai according to your liking – mild to spicy - while still retaining its Thai-ness.
In this creative course, Christina demystifies and guides you from beginning to cook exotic Thai dishes so you cook successfully on your own. You will actively participate in tasting
and using key ingredients such as lemongrass, galangal, ginger, Thai basil, coconut milk, fish sauce, palm sugar and tamarind to develop flavor. You will learn the Thai art of blending
and balancing the five main flavors – salty, sour, sweet, pungent and bitter to create fabulous appetizers, salads, soups, curries, stir-fries, condiments and desserts.

Begin with a visit to the Thai Market and understand Thai Herbs and Spices and Fruits. Shop for today’s ingredients. Back in the kitchen –
learn the difference between Western & Thai cuisines and cooking techniques. Focus on using Thai sauces, blending and balancing flavors, and cutting skills.
